Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15, 1961) was an American actress. In the film and television industry, she's known for her awards and nominations. Bassett originates from New York New York. She was raised at Winston-Salem North Carolina. When Bassett was five years old She and her sister were moved to St. Petersburg, Florida where they lived with their mother, who was divorced from their father. In high school, Bassett was a spectator of John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided she wanted to pursue a career as an actor. Yale University New Haven Connecticut was where she earned her bachelor's degree in African American and master's degrees (1983). Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. The couple got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980. Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the main roles in action adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
